One of the greatest smartphones in its price range, the OnePlus 11 has a ton of features, but does it include a headphone jack?
The OnePlus 11 is one of the greatest premium Android smartphones of 2023 thanks to its excellent combination of robust hardware and cutting-edge software, but does it also include a headphone jack? In the early years of the smartphone revolution, the headphone jack was a regular feature on the majority of smartphones, but over the last few years, it has become progressively less common. In 2016, much to everyone's astonishment, Apple released the iPhone 7 without the then-ubiquitous functionality, which marked the beginning of the 3.5mm port's demise.

Although most Android manufacturers first criticized Apple for removing the headphone jack, almost all of them have since done the same, which has led to the feature almost disappearing from flagship smartphones today. Unfortunately for customers, that pattern is still there with the OnePlus 11, as it lacks a 3.5mm connector for wired headphones. In order to listen to music or podcasts on the OnePlus 11, customers must either utilize wireless headphones or a USB-C to 3.5mm converter.Take the #OnePlus11 for a spin! The OnePlus 11 lacks a headphone jack.
Some potential consumers will probably be disappointed by the absence of a headphone jack, although it is not entirely unexpected. It was never anticipated that OnePlus would reinstate the headphone port on its most recent smartphone because recent flagships like the 10 Pro and 10T did not have one either. Before eliminating the feature in the OnePlus 6T later that year, the company's last flagship OnePlus device to do so was the OnePlus 6 in 2018.
Although though the headphone jack has been extinct on many flagship smartphones, it is still a common feature on many mid-range and entry-level models. Similar to the microSD card, it is one of those functions that can be found on less expensive handsets but is not available to users of more expensive premium devices. Although many individuals still prefer to use wired headphones, most premium smartphone users no longer have that option, at least not natively.
While the headphone port is still missing from the most recent OnePlus flagship, the firm did add one feature that had been much demanded by its customer base for some time. To the dismay of many, the firm did not include the alert slider in the OnePlus 10T, which had been a standard feature of the company's flagship models since the OnePlus One. Fortunately, the useful alert slider is back with the OnePlus 11, enabling users to once more adjust between silent, vibration, and ring modes without having to open their phone.
